A downloadable game for Windows

Tank Warz! is an arcade shooter with a modern look and feel, featuring fast paced tank battles with enemies that wish to prevent you from fulfilling your mission.

Your mission is simple: Destroy the enemy Spawn Portals to stop the evil tank invasion whilst battling your way through different terrains and big bosses.

Featuring pickup items such as Health Packs and "Insta-Bombs" (dropped at random when an enemy tank is destroyed) to help (or sometime hinder!) you in your mission. Additionally featuring an energetic rock backing track and an old-school look, Tank Warz! will engross you in, er, some hopefully fun hours!

Controls (these are configurable in the Options menu):

Move/Turn: WASD
Rotate Turret: MOUSE LEFT/RIGHT (or LEFT/RIGHT cursor keys)
Shoot: LEFT MOUSE BUTTON
In-Game Menu: ESC

Notes:

  • Only the desert map is available in the demo, the remaining 3 maps are available in the full game available on Steam.
  • Does not contain any AI stuff!

Install instructions

Once downloaded, extract the contents of the ZIP file (you might need to "Unblock" it first in Right Click > Properties) or Windows might not like it) to a folder on your PC (including all folders!) and run the game by double-clicking the "Tank Warz! Demo 2023.exe" file.
